Happy New Year?

So, last week…

…one of my poems (Balloons) was featured in Mike O’Brien’s Christmas post on Sixty Odd Poets. This week, he’s only gone and done a New Year one! It’s called Out With the Old - In With the New and - wonder of wonders - there’s another one of my poems (Handover) in there. There are also a bunch of excellent poems other than mine, of course - all wonderful and all different perspectives on the peculiar obsession we have with the passing of one year and the beginning of a new one. Also, a quick reminder: January 5th 6-8pm at The Hub, Alvaiázere is the inaugural meeting of the new branch of the Wordplay Writers Club. If you fancy a couple of hours of messing about with words (and, of course, you happen to be in central Portugal), Jim and I would love to meet you! All welcome!
